It is not possible to print with plastisol inks on fabric surfaces processed
with a corrosion base that includes binder. The water-based binder in the
corrosion base forms a water-based film on the fabric surface. Hence, plastisol
inks cannot bind to the water-based film and they usually peel off. If
a binderless corrosion base is used, since there is no such a film on the
surface, plastisol inks can form strong bonds with the fiber on the corroded
fabric and succesful washing results can be achieved. |
